The hostel "Don Zermani" was born in 2000, in order to
satisfy a precise need of the city: offering an accommodation
to all those who are looking for a room at a reasonable price,
without giving up quality.
The name was given after Father Renato Zermani, a local priest who lived in the middle of '900, who distinguished himself in his dedication to the youngest: he was a teacher in local schools and an educator in youth centres. The hostel opened with 25 beds, but soon they turned to be insufficient, and in 2003, thanks to restoration works, the available beds became 60, in order to be able to accommodate big groups and satisfy the various needs of students, tourists, workers of all ages. |
