Casa del Viaggiatore is located at the edge of Piacenza city centre in the Convent of the Capuchin Friars, a historic building that recently underwent restoration.

Casa del Viaggiatore offers accommodation for 80 students and young workers in en suite single bedrooms. We can also host religious people, families, individuals, groups and self-sufficient elderly people for short stays, depending on vacancies.  

Our residence benefits from being a short distance from the two main universities of the city (Università Cattolica and Politecnico di Milano) and is jointly run by Association “Casa per Ferie – Casa del Viaggiatore” and by Cooperative “Aurora Domus”, renowned istitutions for student services management.

Rooms are all en suite and have been recently refurbished. Each room contains:

- one single bed

- desk and chair

- wardrobe

- bedding and towels, which are changed once a week.

- wired internet connection (wireless connection provided only in the communal area at the entrance)

- electric and TV sockets

 Rooms are cleaned weekly.

Guests can cook their own meals in the communal Kitchen. Please note that you need to use your own kitchenware as we don't provide it.
