The Morigi College is in the centre of the town. It's a quiet area which is well served by public means of transport and by shops and restaurants. The structure is a landmark for the accomodation of the university students in Piacenza and it is the only college of the town which has conventions for the living and the canteen service with the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, the Milan Polytechnic and ER-GO that is the regional enterprise for the right to study.
For tha above mentioned conventions the admittance takes place through selective classifications made by the universities on the base of the income and of the credit.
The accomodations are 96 in double and single rooms all with private services.
The college has also a small detached residence with five bedrooms to be used as guestrooms. Its guests have at their disposal different services such as study rooms, a TV room, a wi-fi connection, rooms to be used together, a kitchen, a gym ,a laundry and furthermore a cafeteria which can be used by external people too. For some time the college has started a program of cultural and creative activities addressed mainly to its guests but also to the town by adapting its formative projects. It's open during the whole year for stays of one or more days at competitive and reasonable prices.
In the building there is the seat of Parma University: Nursing and Physioterapy degrees.
