The joint neighbourhood project continues an experience started in 2003 and it is today addressed to students enrolled at the Milan Polytechnic degrees (Piacenza seat), Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and at the Parma University nursing and physiotherapy degrees.
Aims: Joint neighbourhood project is an offer which provides accomodations for 25 people in Piacenza ACER houses in Via Neve and Via Confalonieri. The students who accept it have to do a welfare service for three hours a week.

It's a project which combines an economic convenience and a cheap living solution with the formative value of an experience which can be an important opportunity to improve personal maturity.
The different kinds of carryng out the Joint neighbourhood project are about the offer to keep company to old and alone people (but selfsufficent ones) within the competence of the area service of the Piacenza Town or in animation activities at different olderly houses of the town in order to help them together with the volountaries of the brotherhood table of Piacenza – Bobbio diocesee.

Since 2010-2011 the managerial responsability of the project concerning the organisation, monitoring and evaluation of the joint activities of the students has been entrusted to A.S.P. Morigi - Decesaris of Piacenza.
